Chain 16B-1 is a simplex roller chain compliant with the European dimensional standard, with a pitch of 25.4 mm. As a Polish manufacturer, we ensure a precise fit of the pin in the bush, which limits the development of play and extends chain service life. Ozdowski chains withstand loads approx. 20% higher than the standard minimum - this is the result of individual hardening of each component (pin, roller, plate) before the chain is assembled.

How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?

The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 16B these are 25.4 mm, 17.02 mm and 15.88 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.

What are the most common causes of chain breakage in machines?

In most cases it is not a material defect but operating errors: running without lubrication, worn sprockets or overloading the drive beyond the permissible chain parameters.

Which connecting link (clip) fits this chain?

Does fitting a chain connecting link require special tools?

No - good pliers or flat-nose pliers are sufficient. Fitting the connecting link directly on the machine is sometimes easier with a tensioner, which allows both free ends of the chain to be held steadily.
