Chains with rubber top plates

Chains with rubber top plates are roller chains with vulcanised rubber pads on which the conveyed product rests. They are used in conveyors for delicate, slippery or easily scratched loads.

Chains with rubber top plates - no scratches and no sliding of the load

The rubber separates the load from the metal, so the product does not get scratched or dented, and the higher friction keeps it from sliding on the chain, even on inclines. Less damage means fewer losses and complaints. You choose the rubber type to suit the conditions: NBR is resistant to oils and greases, while FKM withstands high temperatures and aggressive chemicals. We make the base chains from C45 steel, with components hardened separately before assembly.

NBR is sufficient in typical conditions. Choose FKM top plates when the conveyor comes into contact with acids or solvents or operates at temperatures above 100°C.
