Roller chain 06B-1 ensures reliable torque transmission in industrial drives - pitch 9.53 mm, simplex version. As a Polish manufacturer, we ensure a precise fit of the pin in the bush, which limits the development of play and extends chain service life. Thanks to hardening each component separately, even before the whole chain is assembled, Ozdowski products achieve a breaking strength about 20% higher than the minimum values specified by the standard.

How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?

The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 06B these are 9.53 mm, 5.72 mm and 6.35 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.

What does chain "stretch" mean and how can it be prevented?

It is not a physical stretching of the sheet metal, but an increase in play caused by wear of the pins and working bushes. This is prevented by precise fitting of the components and regular lubrication.

What loads can OZD roller chains withstand?

Thanks to separate hardening of the components, the chains cope well with sudden load changes - the elastic core of the plates and pins acts as a buffer, absorbing the energy of jerks without damaging the links.

Are the chain plates additionally protected against corrosion?

Depending on the selected version, the links may have blackened, phosphated, nickel-plated or galvanised plates. Even in the basic industrial version, the links are factory-lubricated, which provides additional temporary protection against corrosion.
