Roller chain 04B-1 ensures reliable torque transmission in industrial drives - pitch 6 mm, simplex version. Compliance with standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606 guarantees correct interaction with sprockets from other manufacturers; as a Polish manufacturer, we also focus on separate hardening of every link component. Ozdowski chains withstand loads approx. 20% higher than the standard minimum - this is the result of individual hardening of each component (pin, roller, plate) before the chain is assembled.

How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?

The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 04B these are 6 mm, 2.8 mm and 4 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.

Do roller chains from the Ozdowski range comply with DIN 8187?

How does the hardness of the pin and roller affect the chain's resistance to elongation?

The pin and roller are the components subject to the greatest friction. A precisely machined, hard pin wears more slowly, which limits the build-up of play in the links and the "stretching" of the chain over time.

What does chain "stretch" mean and how can it be prevented?

It is not a physical stretching of the sheet metal, but an increase in play caused by wear of the pins and working bushes. This is prevented by precise fitting of the components and regular lubrication.

Where is this product used?

The chain is suitable for drives in the processing and food industries, in sorting facilities and warehouses (pallet and roller conveyors), and also as a replacement part in existing chain drives of the same pitch.
