Product Description

Cranked link (offset link) 10BH-1 heavy-duty, pitch 15.875 mm (5/8"), C45 steel is an cranked link (offset half link) for the 10BH-1 chain with a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"). It makes it possible to obtain a chain with an odd number of pitches when the chain cannot be shortened by a full link.

The heavy-duty version has thicker plates, so it withstands shock loads better. The link is made of C45 steel and its elements are hardened separately before assembly, just like in Ozdowski brand chains.

Frequently asked questions

Which chain does the offset link 10BH-1 fit?

The 10BH-1 roller chain according to DIN 8187 / ISO 606, which has a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"), a roller of 10.16 mm and an inner width of 9.65 mm. If your chain has these dimensions, the matching product in the Ozdowski range is: cranked link (offset link) 10BH-1 heavy-duty, pitch 15.875 mm (5/8"), C45 steel.

When is an offset link used?

When the chain has an odd number of pitches after shortening or lengthening. An offset link is weaker than a standard link, so under heavy loads it is better to choose a chain length that only requires a connecting link.

Does the 10BH-1 chain fit ASA 50 sprockets?

No. The 10B chain (European standard) and the ASA 50 chain (American standard) have the same pitch but a different roller diameter and inner width. These systems should not be mixed.

What does the lead time depend on?
