Straight link (connecting link) 085-1, pitch 12.7 mm (1/2"), C45 steel is a straight link (connecting link with spring clip) for the 085-1 chain with a pitch of 12.70 mm (1/2"). It is used to close the chain into a loop or to join two sections without breaking links.

The link is made of C45 steel and its elements are hardened separately before assembly, just like in Ozdowski brand chains.
