Product Description
Chain 32B-1 is a simplex roller chain compliant with the European dimensional standard, with a pitch of 50.8 mm. Pins, rollers and plates are hardened separately before assembly - as a Polish manufacturer we treat this as standard, which means the chain retains its original dimensions for a long time and does not "stretch" under load. Ozdowski chains withstand loads approx. 20% higher than the standard minimum - this is the result of individual hardening of each component (pin, roller, plate) before the chain is assembled.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain has a pitch of 50.8 mm (2"), a roller of 29.21 mm and an inner width of 30.99 mm?
It is the 32B-1 roller chain according to DIN 8187 / ISO 606, single-strand. If the measured chain has these dimensions, the matching product in the Ozdowski range is: roller chain 32B-1, pitch 50.8 mm (2"), C45 steel. The pitch is measured as the distance between the axes of adjacent pins.
How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 32B these are 50.8 mm, 30.99 mm and 29.21 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.
Why is correct chain tension crucial for its service life?
A chain that is too slack starts to vibrate (so-called whipping), causing the rollers to strike the sprocket teeth. Excessive tension, on the other hand, overloads the shaft bearings and accelerates pin wear.
When should automatic tensioners be used, and when fixed chain guides?
Automatic (spring-loaded) tensioners work well in drives with variable loads and high speeds, whereas fixed plastic chain guides are most often used in drives with a stable, repetitive duty cycle.
What are the most common causes of chain breakage in machines?
In most cases it is not a material defect but operating errors: running without lubrication, worn sprockets or overloading the drive beyond the permissible chain parameters.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this chain - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
