Chain 12B-2 with special rubber top with 2 holes combines the design of a classic 12B-2 (duplex) roller chain with a rubber layer vulcanised onto the plates - this protects the product, reduces line noise and increases grip. The top is fitted with 2 additional mounting holes, enabling the attachment of additional conveyor line elements (e.g. dividers, pushers or holders) - the exact use of the holes depends on the design of the particular line.

The resistance of the cover is provided by NBR rubber (acrylonitrile butadiene rubber) - it offers good resistance to oils, greases, fuels and common organic solvents while retaining high elasticity, as well as operation in a temperature range from -20°C to +100°C. The chain itself is made of steel in accordance with DIN 8187 / ISO 606, which retains the full strength typical of the 12B-2 series.
