Product Description
Chain 12B-1 (simplex) is a proven solution for power transmission in mechanical systems, made with a pitch of 19.05 mm. Pins, rollers and plates are hardened separately before assembly - as a Polish manufacturer we treat this as standard, which means the chain retains its original dimensions for a long time and does not "stretch" under load. Ozdowski chains withstand loads approx. 20% higher than the standard minimum - this is the result of individual hardening of each component (pin, roller, plate) before the chain is assembled.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain has a pitch of 19.05 mm (3/4"), a roller of 12.07 mm and an inner width of 11.68 mm?
It is the 12B-1 roller chain according to DIN 8187 / ISO 606, single-strand. If the measured chain has these dimensions, the matching product in the Ozdowski range is: roller chain 12B-1, pitch 19.05 mm (3/4"), galvanised. The pitch is measured as the distance between the axes of adjacent pins.
How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 12B these are 19.05 mm, 11.68 mm and 12.07 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.
What corrosion protection does galvanising provide?
The zinc coating protects the links against corrosion in conditions of increased humidity, e.g. outdoors or near washing stations.
When should automatic tensioners be used, and when fixed chain guides?
Automatic (spring-loaded) tensioners work well in drives with variable loads and high speeds, whereas fixed plastic chain guides are most often used in drives with a stable, repetitive duty cycle.
Do roller chains from the Ozdowski range comply with DIN 8187?
Yes. Our chains fully comply with the stringent European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, which ensures a correct fit with sprockets made to the same standard.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this chain - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
