Product Description
Roller chain 10B-1, pitch 15.875 mm (5/8"), with straight plate, C45 steel is a single-strand roller chain with a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"), compliant with DIN 8187 / ISO 606.
The plates have a straight (non-waisted) profile, so the chain can slide on a guide rail or carry the load directly on the plates. Ozdowski brand chains are made of C45 steel, and each element - pin, bush, roller and plate - is hardened separately before assembly. As a result, their strength is up to approx. 20% higher than the standard requires.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain has a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"), a roller of 10.16 mm and an inner width of 9.65 mm?
It is the 10B-1 roller chain according to DIN 8187 / ISO 606, single-strand. If the measured chain has these dimensions, the matching product in the Ozdowski range is: roller chain 10B-1, pitch 15.875 mm (5/8"), with straight plate, C45 steel. The pitch is measured as the distance between the axes of adjacent pins.
Which sprockets does the 10B-1 chain work with?
With 10B sprockets with a pitch of 15.875 mm, designed for single-strand chain according to DIN 8187 / ISO 606.
Which connecting link fits the 10B-1 chain?
The 10B-1 connecting link (spring clip link) with the same pitch of 15.875 mm. To obtain an odd number of pitches, use the 10B-1 offset link (cranked link).
How do I order a chain of the required length?
The chain is sold by the metre - state the number of metres in your order. To close the chain into a loop you need a connecting link (spring clip link) with the same designation.
Does the 10B-1 chain fit ASA 50 sprockets?
No. The 10B chain (European standard) and the ASA 50 chain (American standard) have the same pitch but a different roller diameter and inner width. These systems should not be mixed.
When should the 10B-1 chain be replaced?
When the chain has elongated by approx. 3% of its nominal length (e.g. by 30 mm per metre), it starts to mesh poorly with the sprockets and accelerates their wear. The chain should then be replaced, and if the teeth are badly worn, the sprockets as well.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this chain - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
