Product Description

Roller chain 10B-1

Chain 10B-1 is a simplex roller chain compliant with the European dimensional standard, with a pitch of 15.875 mm. The chain is manufactured in accordance with the standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606; each pin, roller and plate is hardened individually, which, as a Polish manufacturer, we consider key to durability. Ozdowski chains withstand loads approx. 20% higher than the standard minimum - this is the result of individual hardening of each component (pin, roller, plate) before the chain is assembled.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?

The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 10B these are 15.875 mm, 9.65 mm and 10.16 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.

How can you tell that a roller chain needs replacing?

The key sign is chain elongation exceeding approximately 2-3% of its original length. Other symptoms include cracked rollers, visible rust on the pins and uneven running on the sprockets.

When should an offset link (half link) be used in a chain drive?

An offset link is used only when the chain length requires an odd number of links. Bear in mind that fitting an offset link slightly weakens the chain, so it is better to choose a length that avoids it.

Is this chain also available with a different number of strands?

Yes, the same chain (10B pitch) is also available in duplex and triplex versions, depending on the required drive strength and the available installation space.

Where is this product used?

The chain is used in production machine drives, transport conveyors, industrial mills and mixers, sorting lines and in maintenance as a replacement part for existing chain drives.
