Chain 06B-3 is an industrial-grade triplex roller chain with a pitch of 9.53 mm, designed for use in drives of machines and production equipment. Pins, rollers and plates are hardened separately before assembly - as a European manufacturer, we treat this as standard, so the chain retains its original dimensions for a long time and does not "stretch" under load. Ozdowski hardens each chain component individually before final assembly - thanks to this, our chains are more durable and stronger, with a strength reserve reaching approx. 20% above the requirements of the standard.

How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?

The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 06B these are 9.53 mm, 5.72 mm and 6.35 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.

What is a triplex chain and when is it used?

A triplex chain is a design consisting of three parallel rows of links connected by common pins. It is used where the space for sprockets is limited (a wider sprocket with a larger pitch cannot be used) and the drive must transmit a higher torque than in the simplex version.

Why does hardening each component (pin, roller, plate) before assembly increase chain service life?

Many low-cost suppliers harden the chain only after assembly, which causes uneven hardening and brittle links. Separate hardening of the pin, roller and plate provides uniform hardness and less wear during operation.

Does this chain fit sprockets from other manufacturers?

Yes - provided the sprocket is made to the same standard (DIN 8187 / ISO 606) and has the same pitch, it will work correctly with the chain regardless of the sprocket manufacturer.

Where is this product used?

The chain is suitable for drives in the processing and food industries, in sorting facilities and warehouses (pallet and roller conveyors), and also as a replacement part in existing chain drives of the same pitch.
