Roller chain 06B-1 ensures reliable torque transmission in industrial drives - pitch 9.53 mm, simplex version. The chain is manufactured in accordance with the standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606; each pin, roller and plate is hardened individually, which, as a Polish manufacturer, we consider key to durability. In Ozdowski chains, each component is hardened separately before being assembled into a finished link - which is why their actual strength exceeds the requirements of the standard by about 20%, meaning greater durability and resistance to breaking.

How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?

The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 06B these are 9.53 mm, 5.72 mm and 6.35 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.

In what lengths are OZD chains sold?

As standard, we supply chains in convenient factory reels with a length of 5 metres or by the running metre - tailored to the needs of maintenance departments.

Do chain guides extend the service life of roller chains?

Yes. A correctly mounted chain guide dampens vibrations, reduces noise and prevents chain whip, which is one of the more common causes of link breakage and premature wear.

What should roller chains operating at high temperatures be lubricated with?

Standard grease will quickly run off or carbonise at high temperature. In such conditions, dedicated synthetic oils with added graphite or molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) perform better.

Where is this product used?

The chain is suitable for drives in the processing and food industries, in sorting facilities and warehouses (pallet and roller conveyors), and also as a replacement part in existing chain drives of the same pitch.
