Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
12B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 19.05 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 60 chain?
No. ASA 60 chain (American standard) has the same pitch, but a different roller diameter (11.91 mm instead of 12.07 mm) and a different inner width (12.7 mm instead of 11.68 mm). The 12B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Is this sprocket available in another version?
Yes. Also available: Sprocket 12B-1 z=114 for Taper-Lock bush 2525, cast iron.
When is a sprocket for a Taper-Lock bush the right choice?
Wherever quick mounting and replacement matter. The clamping bush eliminates boring the hole and cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a bush with a bore that matches the shaft, seat it in the sprocket and tighten the screws.
How do I choose the bush for this sprocket?
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 2525 bush, so a bush with the same number is needed. It is chosen with a bore matching the shaft diameter - before ordering, it is worth measuring the shaft carefully with a caliper in several places.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
