Product Description
Sprocket 10B-1 z=13 for Taper-Lock bush 1008 hardened is designed for 10B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"). It has 13 teeth and is made of C45 steel. The teeth are induction hardened, which increases their abrasion resistance.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 1008 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 1008 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The hub diameter is 47 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 22 mm. The bush is not included - the 1008 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
10B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 15.875 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 50 chain?
No. ASA 50 chain (American standard) has the same pitch and roller diameter, but a different inner width (9.52 mm instead of 9.65 mm). The 10B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Is this sprocket available in another version?
Yes. Also available: Sprocket 10B-1 z=13 for Taper-Lock bush 1008.
What is induction hardening of teeth?
Induction hardening affects only the surface layer of the teeth, i.e. the areas loaded by the chain rollers. This makes the teeth resistant to abrasion, while the sprocket core retains its impact strength.
When is a sprocket for a Taper-Lock bush the right choice?
Wherever quick mounting and replacement matter. The clamping bush eliminates boring the hole and cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a bush with a bore that matches the shaft, seat it in the sprocket and tighten the screws.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
