Product Description
Sprocket 32B-2 (2") z=50 with hub, steel works with 32B-2 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), double-strand (duplex), with a pitch of 50.8 mm (2"). It has 50 teeth and is made of structural steel.
The sprocket has a one-sided hub with a diameter of 220 mm, welded to the plate, and a pilot bore of Ø40 mm, which is bored to the shaft size and completed with a keyway or a set screw hole. The total width of the sprocket is 148 mm.

Applications
It is designed for heavy-duty drives: aggregate conveyors, construction machinery and mining equipment. The double-strand version carries higher loads than a single-strand one of the same pitch.
Frequently asked questions
Which chain does the 32B-2 z=50 sprocket fit?
32B-2 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 50.8 mm. A duplex sprocket requires a double-strand (duplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 160 chain?
No. ASA 160 chain (American standard) has the same pitch, but a different roller diameter (28.58 mm instead of 29.21 mm) and a different inner width (31.75 mm instead of 30.99 mm). The 32B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
What is the set screw hole in the hub for?
The threaded hole, usually made above the keyway or at 90° to it, takes a headless set screw. It prevents the sprocket from sliding along the shaft when the machine vibrates.
Can a sprocket with hub be welded to the shaft?
Technically it is possible, but we do not recommend it. Welding overheats the material, can bend the shaft and damage nearby bearings, and makes later replacement of a worn sprocket very difficult. It is better to fix the sprocket with a key.
How should sprockets be aligned during installation?
The driving and driven sprockets must lie in one plane. Alignment can be checked with a long steel straightedge placed against the sides of both wheels or with a laser alignment tool. Even a small misalignment wears the sides of the teeth and speeds up chain wear.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
