28B-2 duplex hub sprockets

28B-2 hub sprockets have two tooth rims and run with duplex 28B-2 chain of 1 3/4" (44.45 mm) pitch to DIN 8187 / ISO 606. This version is for drives with very high torque, e.g. in equipment conveying heavy bulk materials.

28B-2 sprocket - much more power without enlarging the sprocket

A second chain strand lets you transmit much more power without enlarging an already large sprocket. You bore out the pilot bore for your shaft, and the tall C45 steel hub provides a long keyway and stable seating.

Can a 28B-2 sprocket be additionally secured with a set screw?

Yes. After making the bore and keyway in the hub, you can drill and tap a hole for a set screw, which locks the sprocket axially on the shaft.
