Product Description
Sprocket 24B-1 z=17 for Taper-Lock bush 3535 hardened works with 24B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 38.1 mm (1 1/2"). It has 17 teeth and is made of C45 steel. The sprocket is hardened, which increases the wear resistance of the teeth.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 3535 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 3535 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The bush is not included - the 3535 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
24B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 38.1 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 120 chain?
No. ASA 120 chain (American standard) has the same pitch, but a different roller diameter (22.22 mm instead of 25.4 mm). The 24B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Is this sprocket available in another version?
Yes. Also available: Sprocket 24B-1 z=17 for Taper-Lock bush 3020.
When is a sprocket for a Taper-Lock bush the right choice?
Wherever quick mounting and replacement matter. The clamping bush eliminates boring the hole and cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a bush with a bore that matches the shaft, seat it in the sprocket and tighten the screws.
How do I choose the bush for this sprocket?
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 3535 bush, so a bush with the same number is needed. It is chosen with a bore matching the shaft diameter - before ordering, it is worth measuring the shaft carefully with a caliper in several places.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
