Product Description
Sprocket 20B-1 z=30 for Taper-Lock bush 3020 works with 20B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 31.75 mm (1 1/4"). It has 30 teeth and is made of C45 steel.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 3020 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 3020 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The hub diameter is 150 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 51 mm. The bush is not included - the 3020 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
20B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 31.75 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 100 chain?
No. ASA 100 chain (American standard) has the same pitch and roller diameter, but a different inner width (19.05 mm instead of 19.56 mm). The 20B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
How do I mount a sprocket with a Taper-Lock bush?
Insert the bush into the sprocket seat, align the holes and lightly screw in the screws. Then slide the assembly onto the shaft and tighten the screws alternately until the bush is firmly clamped on the shaft.
Can the bush taper be greased before mounting?
No. The bush works by friction, and grease on the tapered surfaces can cause the bush to be drawn in too deep and crack the sprocket hub. The tapered surfaces must be degreased before mounting.
How do I remove a sprocket with a Taper-Lock bush?
Remove the mounting screws and screw one of them into the free dismounting hole. The screw then acts as a puller and pushes the bush out of the sprocket seat.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
