Sprocket 20B-1 z=21 for Taper-Lock bush 2517 hardened is designed for 20B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 31.75 mm (1 1/4"). It has 21 teeth and is made of C45 steel. The teeth are induction hardened, which increases their abrasion resistance.

The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 2517 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 2517 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The hub diameter is 108 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 45 mm. The bush is not included - the 2517 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

What does bush number 2517 mean?

How do I mount a sprocket with a Taper-Lock bush?

Insert the bush into the sprocket seat, align the holes and lightly screw in the screws. Then slide the assembly onto the shaft and tighten the screws alternately until the bush is firmly clamped on the shaft.
