Product Description
Sprocket 20B-1 (1 1/4") z=13 with bearing, bore 25 mm, C45 steel works with 20B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 31.75 mm (1 1/4"). It has 13 teeth and is made of C45 steel.
The sprocket runs on a 205 KRR ball bearing with a 25 mm bore, shielded on both sides and requiring no lubrication. The inner ring of the bearing is extended (21 mm compared with 15 mm for the outer ring), which makes mounting on a pin or bolt easier. The sprocket is ready to install, and the bearing operates at temperatures from -20°C to +120°C.

Applications
The sprocket is installed as a tensioner on the slack side of the chain or as a return and guide sprocket. It is well suited to chain conveyors, packaging machines, agricultural machinery and drives with long centre distances, where the chain needs to be supported or redirected.
Frequently asked questions
Which chain does the 20B-1 z=13 sprocket with bearing fit?
20B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 31.75 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
How do I mount a sprocket with bearing?
The sprocket is placed on a pin or bolt with a diameter of 25 mm that passes through the bearing bore, and is fixed to the machine frame or tensioner arm. The inner ring of the bearing is clamped, while the sprocket rotates freely with the chain. The sprocket must be exactly in line with the chain.
Does the bearing need lubrication?
No. The ball bearing is shielded on both sides and maintenance-free - it does not need lubrication throughout its service life. It is enough to check periodically that the sprocket turns easily and without play.
What is the difference between a sprocket with bearing and a standard sprocket?
A standard sprocket is mounted on a shaft and transmits drive. A sprocket with bearing rotates freely on a stationary pin, so it does not transmit torque - it is used to tension, support and redirect the chain.
Does it fit ASA 100 chain?
No. ASA 100 chain (American standard) has the same pitch and roller diameter, but a different inner width (19.05 mm instead of 19.56 mm). The 20B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
