Product Description
Sprocket 12B-3 z=19 for Taper-Lock bush 2012 works with 12B-3 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), triple-strand (triplex), with a pitch of 19.05 mm (3/4"). It has 19 teeth and is made of C45 steel.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 2012 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 2012 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The total width of the sprocket is 49.8 mm. The bush is not included - the 2012 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
12B-3 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 19.05 mm. A triplex sprocket requires a triple-strand (triplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 60 chain?
No. ASA 60 chain (American standard) has the same pitch, but a different roller diameter (11.91 mm instead of 12.07 mm) and a different inner width (12.7 mm instead of 11.68 mm). The 12B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Is this sprocket available in another version?
Yes. Also available: Sprocket 12B-3 z=19 for Taper-Lock bush 2012 hardened.
Can the bush taper be greased before mounting?
No. The bush works by friction, and grease on the tapered surfaces can cause the bush to be drawn in too deep and crack the sprocket hub. The tapered surfaces must be degreased before mounting.
How do I remove a sprocket with a Taper-Lock bush?
Remove the mounting screws and screw one of them into the free dismounting hole. The screw then acts as a puller and pushes the bush out of the sprocket seat.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
