Product Description
Sprocket 12B-2 z=114 for Taper-Lock bush 3030, cast iron fits 12B-2 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), double-strand (duplex), with a pitch of 19.05 mm (3/4"). It has 114 teeth and is made of EN-GJL-250 cast iron.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 3030 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 3030 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The hub diameter is 160 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 76 mm. The bush is not included - the 3030 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Applications
It works well in roller and belt conveyor drives and in agricultural machinery. The double-strand version carries higher loads than a single-strand one of the same pitch. The cast iron design works well for large sprockets in reduction gears, where rigidity and vibration damping matter.
Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
12B-2 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 19.05 mm. A duplex sprocket requires a double-strand (duplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 60 chain?
No. ASA 60 chain (American standard) has the same pitch, but a different roller diameter (11.91 mm instead of 12.07 mm) and a different inner width (12.7 mm instead of 11.68 mm). The 12B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
When is a sprocket for a Taper-Lock bush the right choice?
Wherever quick mounting and replacement matter. The clamping bush eliminates boring the hole and cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a bush with a bore that matches the shaft, seat it in the sprocket and tighten the screws.
How do I choose the bush for this sprocket?
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 3030 bush, so a bush with the same number is needed. It is chosen with a bore matching the shaft diameter - before ordering, it is worth measuring the shaft carefully with a caliper in several places.
What does bush number 3030 mean?
The four-digit number indicates the size of the bush. The last two digits give its width in tenths of an inch - the 3030 bush is 3.0 inch wide. The sprocket and the bush must have the same number.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
