Product Description
Sprocket 10B-2 z=76 for Taper-Lock bush 3020, cast iron fits 10B-2 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), double-strand (duplex), with a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"). It has 76 teeth and is made of EN-GJL-250 cast iron.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 3020 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 3020 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The hub diameter is 160 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 51 mm. The bush is not included - the 3020 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Applications
It is found in production lines, mixers and screw feeders. The double-strand version carries higher loads than a single-strand one of the same pitch. The cast iron design works well for large sprockets in reduction gears, where rigidity and vibration damping matter.
Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
10B-2 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 15.875 mm. A duplex sprocket requires a double-strand (duplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 50 chain?
No. ASA 50 chain (American standard) has the same pitch and roller diameter, but a different inner width (9.52 mm instead of 9.65 mm). The 10B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Can a Taper-Lock bush be reused?
Yes, if it has not been mechanically damaged. Easy dismounting and remounting is one of the main advantages of this system.
How do I check the pitch of a sprocket?
The sprocket pitch matches the chain pitch - it is the distance between the centres of adjacent teeth measured on the pitch circle. The easiest way to check it is to place a section of matching chain on the sprocket: it should sit on the teeth without tension. This sprocket has a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8").
How is the pitch diameter of a sprocket calculated?
The pitch diameter Dp is the circle along which the chain rollers travel. It is calculated with the formula: pitch divided by the sine of (180° / number of teeth). For this sprocket it is 384.16 mm, and the outside diameter De is 392.1 mm.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
