Product Description
Sprocket 10B-2 z=19 for Taper-Lock bush 1610, C45 steel, hardened is designed for 10B-2 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), double-strand (duplex), with a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"). It has 19 teeth and is made of C45 steel. The sprocket is hardened, which increases the wear resistance of the teeth.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 1610 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 1610 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The bush is not included - the 1610 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
10B-2 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 15.875 mm. A duplex sprocket requires a double-strand (duplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 50 chain?
No. ASA 50 chain (American standard) has the same pitch and roller diameter, but a different inner width (9.52 mm instead of 9.65 mm). The 10B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Is this sprocket available in another version?
Yes. Also available: Sprocket 10B-2 z=19 for Taper-Lock bush 1610, C45 steel.
How does the number of teeth affect the drive ratio?
The ratio is the number of teeth of the driven wheel divided by the number of teeth of the driving wheel. If this sprocket drives a wheel with twice as many teeth, the driven shaft turns twice as slowly but with roughly twice the torque.
How should sprockets be aligned during installation?
The driving and driven sprockets must lie in one plane. Alignment can be checked with a long steel straightedge placed against the sides of both wheels or with a laser alignment tool. Even a small misalignment wears the sides of the teeth and speeds up chain wear.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
