Product Description

Sprocket 10B-1 z=41, hardened hub

Simplex sprocket 10B-1 with hardened hub, 41 teeth - designed for chain with a pitch of 5/8" (15.875 mm). The material is carbon steel C45E (EN 10083-1), and the teeth undergo induction hardening to 45-55 HRC - in accordance with DIN 8187 / ISO 606; the hub retains a lower core hardness, so it can be machined safely.

Frequently asked questions

Does Ozdowski have its own warehouse and fast shipping of parts?

Yes - we know that every minute counts during a production line breakdown, which is why we keep large stocks of sprockets available immediately, allowing lightning-fast shipping and a quick solution to the drive problem.

What should be used to preserve sprockets before a longer break in operation?

After cleaning with a brush and a technical cleaner, apply preservative grease or a thick, moisture-displacing spray oil to the entire surface of the sprocket. This will protect the carbon steel against a rusty film during a break in the workshop.

Can a new chain be fitted on an old, worn sprocket?

Never do this. An old, deformed sprocket has altered tooth geometry and will force drastic mechanical stretching on the new chain. The rule is "new chain - new sprocket" - only then will the drive achieve maximum service life.

Can a sprocket be welded directly to the drive shaft?

Technically this is possible, but we strongly advise against such a solution. Welding overheats the material, damages nearby bearings, bends the shaft and prevents the worn sprocket from being easily replaced later. Always use mounting with a key or a clamping bush.

Where is this product used?

10B-1 sprockets operate in the drives of construction machinery, goods lifts, aggregate conveyors and woodworking machines - wherever tooth durability under heavy load matters.

When placing your order, please check the current stock level of this gear - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in the given warehouse.
