Sprocket 10B-1 z=30 for Taper-Lock bush 2012 hardened is designed for 10B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"). It has 30 teeth and is made of C45 steel. The teeth are induction hardened, which increases their abrasion resistance.

The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 2012 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 2012 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The hub diameter is 90 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 32 mm. The bush is not included - the 2012 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Does it fit ASA 50 chain?

No. ASA 50 chain (American standard) has the same pitch and roller diameter, but a different inner width (9.52 mm instead of 9.65 mm). The 10B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.

Can a new chain be fitted on a worn sprocket?

This should not be done. A worn sprocket has a changed tooth profile, so a new chain runs unevenly and elongates quickly. The rule is: new chain - new sprockets.
