Product Description
Sprocket 06B-3 z=95, with hub
The sprocket 06B-3 shown is a triplex (three-strand) sprocket with 95 teeth, made with a hub, for chain with a pitch of 3/8" / 9.53 mm. Manufactured in accordance with DIN 8187 / ISO 606 from C45E structural steel (EN 10083-1), without tooth hardening - as a Polish manufacturer, Ozdowski supplies an economical version that is fully dimensionally interchangeable with the hardened variant of the same pitch.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer sprockets made to custom dimensions, outside the catalogue?
Yes, in addition to catalogue items we also manufacture sprockets to individual drawings or customer requirements - please contact the sales department and provide the required parameters (pitch, number of teeth, hub dimensions, material).
How does a sprocket with hardened teeth differ from the standard version (non-hardened)?
The hardened version has teeth induction-hardened to 45-55 HRC, which extends service life in drives operating continuously and under heavy load. The standard version (non-hardened) is cheaper and fully adequate for applications with moderate load or intermittent operation - our catalogue offers both variants for most pitches and numbers of teeth.
How should a chain drive be lubricated to extend its service life?
The lubricant should get between the rollers and plates of the chain, not just onto its outer surface - it is best applied to the lower (slack) part of the chain, just before it runs onto the sprocket. In a dusty environment, a thick grease works better, while at high speeds a lower-viscosity oil that penetrates the joints more easily is preferable.
How does the choice of the number of teeth affect vibration levels and drive operation?
A smaller number of teeth means fewer meshing points per revolution and larger fluctuations in the instantaneous chain speed (the so-called polygon effect), which results in higher vibration levels. Increasing the number of teeth of the sprocket (at the same pitch) smooths the operation of the drive, although it increases its overall dimensions.
Where is this product used?
06B-3 sprockets operate in drives of construction machinery, goods lifts, aggregate conveyors and woodworking machines - wherever tooth durability under load matters.
When placing your order, please check the current stock level of this gear - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in the given warehouse.
