Product Description
Sprocket 06B-3 z=26, with hub
The sprocket 06B-3 shown is a triplex (three-strand) sprocket with 26 teeth, made with a hub, for chain with a pitch of 3/8" / 9.53 mm. Manufactured in accordance with DIN 8187 / ISO 606 from C45E structural steel (EN 10083-1), without tooth hardening - as a Polish manufacturer, Ozdowski supplies an economical version that is fully dimensionally interchangeable with the hardened variant of the same pitch.

Frequently asked questions
What is the relationship between the number of teeth of a sprocket and the rotational speed of the drive?
This is the basic principle of the transmission ratio. If there is a small sprocket on the motor (drive) and a large one on the machine, the machine will turn more slowly but gain proportionally greater torque (force).
Does the machine's operating temperature matter when choosing the sprocket material?
Yes - at very low or very high temperatures the mechanical properties of steel or cast iron change, and lubricants may change viscosity or thicken. Under unusual thermal conditions (cold stores, furnaces, dryers), it is advisable to consult the supplier before selecting a specific material variant.
Is it possible to order a single trial piece of the sprocket before placing a larger order?
Yes, catalogue items can be ordered in any quantity, including a single piece for testing or verification before a larger series order.
What is a technological bore in a sprocket and why is it left?
We manufacture sprockets with hub with a small, so-called pilot (preliminary) bore. We leave it deliberately so that the customer (or workshop) can bore it precisely to the exact shaft size of their machine.
Where is this product used?
Typical applications of the 06B-3 sprocket: drives for pumps, mixers and industrial fans, as well as control systems for industrial gates and roller shutters, where resistance to continuous operation is required.
When placing your order, please check the current stock level of this gear - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in the given warehouse.
