Product Description
Sprocket 06B-1 z=57 for Taper-Lock bush 1210, cast iron works with 06B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 9.525 mm (3/8"). It has 57 teeth and is made of EN-GJL-250 cast iron.
The sprocket has a seat for a Taper-Lock 1210 clamping bush, so it can be mounted on the shaft without boring the hole or cutting a keyway in the sprocket - simply choose a 1210 bush with a bore that matches the shaft. The hub diameter is 83 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 25 mm. The bush is not included - the 1210 bush can be purchased separately from our range.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this sprocket fit?
06B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 9.525 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
Does it fit ASA 35 chain?
No. ASA 35 chain (American standard) has the same pitch, but a different roller diameter (5.08 mm instead of 6.35 mm) and a different inner width (4.77 mm instead of 5.72 mm). The 06B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Is this sprocket available in another version?
Yes. Also available: Sprocket 06B-1 z=57 for Taper-Lock bush 1210.
How can run-out be avoided after mounting the bush?
Cleanliness of the shaft, the bush and the sprocket seat is crucial. Even a small chip between the bush taper and the sprocket causes run-out, which accelerates wear of the chain and bearings.
Does the bush connection need to be checked during operation?
Yes. After the first period of operation, and later during inspections, it is worth checking that the bush screws are tight. In drives operating at higher temperatures, a check after the first warm-up is especially important.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
