Product Description
Welded long link chain 10x50 E10 - one-metre length with connector
Link chain 10x50 E10 - 1 m segment with connecting link is a ready-made one-metre piece of case-hardened long link chain (20 links) supplied with a connecting link secured by an Allen screw. The alloy steel chain has a surface hardness of 62 HRC and a minimum breaking force of 55 kN. It is a convenient choice when a short, stretched or broken section needs replacing in a conveyor or scraper.
IMPORTANT - RESTRICTED USE
WARNING! THIS CHAIN IS NOT SUITABLE FOR LIFTING LOADS, FOR SLINGS OR FOR LOAD SECURING.
The connecting link is included, so the segment can be joined to the chain straight away without welding. The hard surface layer reduces abrasion from the conveyed material and the sprockets, while the tough core absorbs dynamic loads, so the inserted piece performs exactly like the rest of the chain.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the kit contain?
1 m of 10x50 E10 link chain (20 links) and one Link 10x50 E10 connecting link with an Allen screw.
What is the one-metre segment most often used for?
For replacing a short, worn or broken section in drag and bucket conveyors and in manure, ash and slag scrapers. It is also handy as a workshop spare.
Is one connecting link enough to insert the segment?
One connecting link is enough to extend the chain. Inserting the segment into the middle of the chain requires two joints: one is made with the included connecting link, and the second connecting link can be purchased separately (Link 10x50 E10, EAN 5908453517876).
How strong is this chain?
The minimum breaking force is 55 kN and the proof force is 44 kN, as confirmed by the manufacturer's test certificate (MTC). The manufacturer does not specify a working load, so the chain is not suitable for lifting loads.
How can I check whether the segment fits my machine?
Measure the chain running in the machine: the bar diameter should be 10 mm, the pitch 50 mm and the inside link width 14.5 mm.
WARNING! THIS CHAIN IS NOT SUITABLE FOR LIFTING LOADS, FOR SLINGS OR FOR LOAD SECURING.
