Product Description
Connector for long link chain 10x50 E10
Link 10x50 E10 is a connecting link for 10x50 link chain, secured with an M6 Allen screw. It lets you join chain lengths, close a conveyor or scraper loop and shorten a stretched chain without welding and without replacing the whole chain. It is made of alloy steel carburized to a surface hardness of 62 HRC, just like the 10x50 E10 chain. The price is per 1 piece.
IMPORTANT - RESTRICTED USE
WARNING! THIS LINK IS NOT SUITABLE FOR LIFTING LOADS, FOR SLINGS OR FOR LOAD SECURING.
Because the link has the same material, hardness and strength as the chain, the joint is not a weak point in the loop. The hard surface withstands abrasion from the conveyed material, while the tough core absorbs dynamic loads.

Applications
- joining lengths of 10x50 link chain
- closing chain loops in drag and bucket conveyors
- chain repair in manure, ash and slag scrapers
- shortening a stretched chain without replacing the whole chain
- conveyors for biomass, wood chips, grain and feed
Fitting instructions
When fitting, make sure the link is correctly oriented in relation to the sprockets and tighten the Allen screw. When replacing the chain, we recommend replacing the connecting links as well. It is worth keeping 1-2 links in stock as spares for each chain loop.
Frequently asked questions
Which chain does this link fit?
10x50 link chain, i.e. with a 10 mm bar diameter and 50 mm pitch, including Link chain 10x50 E10 (EAN 5908453529787). The link is made of the same material as this chain.
How do I fit the connecting link?
Undo the M6 Allen screw, join the chain ends and screw the link back together. Fitting requires no welding and no special tools other than an Allen key.
How many connecting links do I need?
One link is enough to close a loop or extend the chain. Inserting a new segment into the middle of the chain requires two links, one for each end.
How strong is the link?
The same as the 10x50 E10 chain: proof force 44 kN, minimum breaking force 55 kN. The manufacturer does not specify a working load, so the link is not suitable for lifting loads.
Can I use this link in a sling or for load securing?
No. The link is intended only for conveyor chains, scrapers and similar drives. It is not suitable for lifting loads, for slings or for load securing.
WARNING! THIS LINK IS NOT SUITABLE FOR LIFTING LOADS, FOR SLINGS OR FOR LOAD SECURING.
