Product Description
Trapezoidal screw 20x4 right-hand stainless A2 cut length 1m
1000 mm is the length that covers most typical applications in linear drives, which is why we keep it in stock as ready cut lengths. Made of stainless steel INOX A2 - AISI 304 (1.4301), compliant with DIN 103 / ISO 2901-2904, right-hand thread Tr 20x4.
Works with a trapezoidal nut with the same thread (size, pitch and hand must be identical). Used in: installations working in damp environments, washing systems, the food and chemical industries - A2 steel does not corrode under the influence of water and most cleaning agents.

Frequently asked questions
Which nut fits this cut length?
A trapezoidal nut Tr 20x4 with the same thread hand (right-hand) - size and pitch must be identical, otherwise the mechanism will jam.
Can I order a length other than 1000 mm?
Yes, the screw Tr 20x4 is also available by the metre for individual cutting - this product is a ready, fixed cut length of 1000 mm.
What does the symbol Tr 20x4 mean?
"Tr" is a symmetrical trapezoidal thread (flank angle 30°) compliant with DIN 103 / ISO 2901-2904. The first number is the outer diameter of the screw in millimetres, the second is the thread pitch, i.e. the linear travel of the nut for one full 360° turn of the screw.
Is there backlash in a trapezoidal screw drive?
Yes - a standard trapezoidal nut has some backlash resulting from the manufacturing tolerance of the thread. If the mechanism requires zero backlash (e.g. for precise positioning in CNC machine tools), it is worth using a backlash-reducing (anti-backlash) nut that works with this screw.
