Product Description
Timing belt pulley H 200 z=84 for Taper-Lock bush 2517 cast iron - for H belts with a pitch of 1/2" (12.7 mm). Made of grey cast iron with a pearlitic structure.
The Taper-Lock system eliminates the need to bore out the hub. The bush slides into the tapered seat of the pulley and, after the screws are tightened to a torque of approx. 50 Nm, it clamps onto the shaft without a press or special tools. Removal is just as simple - one screw inserted into the removal hole pushes the bush out without risk of damaging the shaft.
The pulley performs well wherever precise motion synchronisation is required: heavy industrial drives, agricultural machinery, machine tools, presses.
When ordering, please check the lead time - it is shown directly next to the product's stock level.

FAQ
How do I choose the Taper-Lock bush number?
The bush number (2517) is assigned to the pulley and determines the size of the seat. You only choose the bore diameter of the bush to suit your shaft. The maximum bore for this pulley is 60 mm.
How do I remove a pulley with a Taper-Lock bush?
Unscrew the mounting screws and screw one of them into the removal hole in the bush - it acts as a puller and pushes the bush out of the seat without damaging the shaft, without a press or hammer.
What shaft tolerance do you recommend?
The recommended shaft tolerance is h9 or h11. The shaft should be smooth and clean - rust or burrs will hinder proper clamping and may cause the pulley to slip under load.
How do you choose a pulley for a toothed belt?
The key is matching the series (H = pitch 1/2" (12.7 mm)) and the belt width (200 mm). The drive ratio is calculated by dividing the number of teeth of the driven pulley by the number of teeth of the driving pulley.
