Timing belt pulley PolyChain GT 8M GT36 z=32 for Taper-Lock bush 1610 Steel - for PolyChain GT belts with pitch 8 mm and width 36 mm. Made of C45 steel with a profile optimised for Gates PolyChain GT polyurethane belts.

The Taper-Lock system eliminates the need to bore out the hub. The bush slides into the tapered seat of the pulley and, after the screws are tightened to a torque of approx. 28 Nm, clamps onto the shaft without a press or special tools. Removal is just as simple - a single screw inserted into the removal hole pushes the bush out without risk of damaging the shaft.

The pitch is identical (8 mm), so the pulleys have the same overall dimensions - but the tooth profile is optimised for the Gates PolyChain GT polyurethane belt. PolyChain and HTD 8M pulleys are not interchangeable - use only PolyChain pulleys with a PolyChain belt.

How do I mount the pulley on a Taper-Lock bush?
