Product Description
Sprocket 10B-1 (5/8") z=16 with hub, bore 25 mm with keyway, C45 steel fits 10B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 15.875 mm (5/8"). It has 16 teeth and is made of C45 steel.
The sprocket has a hub with a finished bore of 25 mm and a keyway, so it can be fitted straight onto a shaft of this diameter - without boring the hole or cutting a keyway. The hub diameter is 60 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 30 mm.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does the 10B-1 z=16 sprocket fit?
10B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 15.875 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
Which shaft does this sprocket fit?
The sprocket has a finished bore of 25 mm with a keyway, so it is mounted on a 25 mm shaft with a key. Before ordering, it is worth measuring the shaft carefully with a caliper in several places.
Does it fit ASA 50 chain?
No. ASA 50 chain (American standard) has the same pitch and roller diameter, but a different inner width (9.52 mm instead of 9.65 mm). The 10B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
Can a sprocket with hub be welded to the shaft?
Technically it is possible, but we do not recommend it. Welding overheats the material, can bend the shaft and damage nearby bearings, and makes later replacement of a worn sprocket very difficult. It is better to fix the sprocket with a key.
How should sprockets be aligned during installation?
The driving and driven sprockets must lie in one plane. Alignment can be checked with a long steel straightedge placed against the sides of both wheels or with a laser alignment tool. Even a small misalignment wears the sides of the teeth and speeds up chain wear.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
