Product Description
Sprocket 06B-1 (3/8") z=20 with hub, bore 19 mm with keyway, C45 steel is designed for 06B-1 roller chain (European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606), single-strand (simplex), with a pitch of 9.525 mm (3/8"). It has 20 teeth and is made of C45 steel.
The sprocket has a hub with a finished bore of 19 mm and a keyway, so it can be fitted straight onto a shaft of this diameter - without boring the hole or cutting a keyway. The hub diameter is 46 mm and the total width of the sprocket is 28 mm.

Frequently asked questions
Which chain does the 06B-1 z=20 sprocket fit?
06B-1 roller chain to European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, with a pitch of 9.525 mm. A simplex sprocket requires a single-strand (simplex) chain.
Which shaft does this sprocket fit?
The sprocket has a finished bore of 19 mm with a keyway, so it is mounted on a 19 mm shaft with a key. Before ordering, it is worth measuring the shaft carefully with a caliper in several places.
Does it fit ASA 35 chain?
No. ASA 35 chain (American standard) has the same pitch, but a different roller diameter (5.08 mm instead of 6.35 mm) and a different inner width (4.77 mm instead of 5.72 mm). The 06B sprocket is designed for European-standard chain, so the two systems should not be mixed.
How does the number of teeth affect the drive ratio?
The ratio is the number of teeth of the driven wheel divided by the number of teeth of the driving wheel. If this sprocket drives a wheel with twice as many teeth, the driven shaft turns twice as slowly but with roughly twice the torque.
Can a sprocket with hub be welded to the shaft?
Technically it is possible, but we do not recommend it. Welding overheats the material, can bend the shaft and damage nearby bearings, and makes later replacement of a worn sprocket very difficult. It is better to fix the sprocket with a key.
What does the lead time depend on?
When ordering, please check the current stock level of this sprocket - the lead time depends on it and is clearly stated according to the quantity available in each warehouse. The stock level is shown above the product price and may vary depending on the warehouse.
