Application

Chain X458 galvanised, made of 40CrNiMo is a reinforced chain for the most heavily loaded slaughter lines - a Premium variant of the standard chain X458, made of an improved alloy that raises fatigue strength and breaking resistance.

Thanks to the nickel and chromium content of 40CrNiMo, the chain shows much higher breaking resistance than the standard X458, while keeping the same galvanised coating protecting against corrosion. This solution is intended for plants that make no compromises in maintenance - long production lines in wet and powder paint shops, demanding KTL zones and multi-tonne pig slaughter lines, including deboning and packing zones (Banss, Marell).

In other words, this product is an overhead conveyor chain - the main load-bearing element of a slaughter line, along which trolleys with suspended loads move.
