Roller chain 32B-3 ensures reliable torque transmission in industrial drives - pitch 50.8 mm, triplex design. As a Polish manufacturer, we ensure a precise fit of the pin in the bush, which limits the development of play and extends chain service life. Thanks to hardening each component separately, even before the whole chain is assembled, Ozdowski products achieve a breaking strength about 20% higher than the minimum values specified by the standard.

How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?

The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 32B these are 50.8 mm, 30.99 mm and 29.21 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.

What is a triplex chain and when is it used?

A triplex chain is a design consisting of three parallel rows of links connected by common pins. It is used where the space for sprockets is limited (a wider sprocket with a larger pitch cannot be used) and the drive must transmit a higher torque than in the simplex version.

Do roller chains from the Ozdowski range comply with DIN 8187?

Yes. Our chains fully comply with the stringent European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, which ensures a correct fit with sprockets made to the same standard.

Does fitting a chain connecting link require special tools?

No - good pliers or flat-nose pliers are sufficient. Fitting the connecting link directly on the machine is sometimes easier with a tensioner, which allows both free ends of the chain to be held steadily.
