Product Description
Roller chain 24B-1 with attachment K1
Roller chain 24B-1 ensures reliable torque transmission in industrial drives - pitch 38.1 mm, simplex version. Manufactured in accordance with DIN 8187 / ISO 606; as a European manufacturer, we guarantee full dimensional compatibility with sprockets made to the same standard. A K-1 attachment is mounted on selected outer links - an L-shaped bent plate used to fix flights, dividers or other working elements of the conveyor. The Ozdowski brand hardens pins, rollers and plates individually, before the links are assembled into a complete chain - as a result, our chains are approx. 20% stronger than the standard requires and therefore more durable and robust when working under load.

Frequently asked questions
How do I select the right roller chain with attachment for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters of the chain itself: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 24B these are 38.1 mm, 25.4 mm and 25.4 mm respectively. In addition, the type and spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is a K-1 attachment and what is it used for?
The K-1 attachment is a bent attachment with two mounting holes, positioned centrally on the link. It is mounted on selected links of the 24B chain to fix conveyed elements, flights, dividers or other working elements to the drive - the exact spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the difference between a bent and an upright attachment?
The bent attachment (designations without the letter S, e.g. A-1, K-1, WA-2, WK-2) has a plate bent into an L shape and fixed to the side of the chain, close to its axis. The upright attachment (with the letter S, e.g. SA-1, SK-1, WSA-2, WSK-2) has a plate mounted perpendicularly, projecting upwards from the chain. The choice depends on how the flight, divider or other element is fixed in the specific machine.
What does chain "stretch" mean and how can it be prevented?
It is not a physical stretching of the sheet metal, but an increase in play caused by wear of the pins and working bushes. This is prevented by precise fitting of the components and regular lubrication.
Where is this product used?
The 24B chain with K-1 attachment is used in conveyors, feeders and transport lines where a flight, divider or other working element fixed to the attachment moves or lifts the conveyed goods. Typical applications include packaging lines, sorting machines and conveyors in the food industry and agricultural machinery.
