Product Description
Roller chain 16B-1 with WK2 attachment
Roller chain 16B-1 is a simplex chain with a pitch of 25.4 mm, used as a basic drive element in mechanical engineering. Manufactured in accordance with DIN 8187 / ISO 606; as a Polish manufacturer, we guarantee full dimensional compatibility with sprockets made to the same standard. A WK-2 attachment is fitted to selected outer links - an L-shaped bent plate used to mount flights, partitions or other working elements of the conveyor. Ozdowski chains withstand loads approx. 20% higher than the standard minimum - this is the result of individual hardening of each component (pin, roller, plate) before the chain is assembled.

Frequently asked questions
How do I select the right roller chain with attachment for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters of the chain itself: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 16B these are 25.4 mm, 17.02 mm and 15.88 mm respectively. In addition, the type and spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is a WK-2 attachment and what is it used for?
The WK-2 attachment is a widened bent attachment with two mounting holes. It is mounted on selected links of the 16B chain to fix conveyed elements, flights, dividers or other working elements to the drive - the exact spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the difference between a bent and an upright attachment?
The bent attachment (designations without the letter S, e.g. A-1, K-1, WA-2, WK-2) has a plate bent into an L shape and fixed to the side of the chain, close to its axis. The upright attachment (with the letter S, e.g. SA-1, SK-1, WSA-2, WSK-2) has a plate mounted perpendicularly, projecting upwards from the chain. The choice depends on how the flight, divider or other element is fixed in the specific machine.
Do roller chains from the Ozdowski range comply with DIN 8187?
Yes. Our chains fully comply with the stringent European standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606, which ensures a correct fit with sprockets made to the same standard.
Where is this product used?
Chain 16B with WK-2 attachment is used in conveyors, feeders and transport lines, where a flight, partition or other working element mounted on the attachment pushes or lifts the conveyed goods. Typical applications include packaging lines, sorting machines and conveyors in the food industry and agricultural machinery.
