Product Description
Roller chain 12B-1 with WSA2 attachment
Roller chain 12B-1 ensures reliable torque transmission in industrial drives - pitch 19.05 mm, simplex version. As a Polish manufacturer, we ensure a precise fit of the pin in the bush, which limits the development of play and extends chain service life. An upright WSA-2 attachment is mounted on selected outer links - a plate set perpendicular to the chain, used for fixing flights or dividers for the conveyed items. Thanks to hardening each component separately, even before the whole chain is assembled, Ozdowski products achieve a breaking strength about 20% higher than the minimum values specified by the standard.

Frequently asked questions
How do I select the right roller chain with attachment for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters of the chain itself: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 12B these are 19.05 mm, 11.68 mm and 12.07 mm respectively. In addition, the type and spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the WSA-2 attachment and what is it used for?
The WSA-2 attachment is a widened upright attachment with one mounting hole. It is mounted on selected links of the 12B chain to fix conveyed elements, flights, dividers or other working elements to the drive - the exact spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the difference between a bent and an upright attachment?
The bent attachment (designations without the letter S, e.g. A-1, K-1, WA-2, WK-2) has a plate bent into an L shape and fixed to the side of the chain, close to its axis. The upright attachment (with the letter S, e.g. SA-1, SK-1, WSA-2, WSK-2) has a plate mounted perpendicularly, projecting upwards from the chain. The choice depends on how the flight, divider or other element is fixed in the specific machine.
Which connecting link (clip) fits this chain?
The chain should be fitted with a connecting link of the same pitch, preferably from the same manufacturer - manufacturing tolerances differ between manufacturers and affect how the joint performs.
Where is this product used?
The 12B chain with WSA-2 attachment is used in conveyors, feeders and transport lines, where a flight, divider or other working element fixed to the attachment pushes or lifts the conveyed goods. Typical applications include packaging lines, sorting machines and conveyors in the food industry and agricultural machinery.
