Product Description
Roller chain 12B-1 with SK1 attachment
Chain 12B-1 is a simplex roller chain compliant with the European dimensional standard, with a pitch of 19.05 mm. The chain is manufactured in accordance with the standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606; each pin, roller and plate is hardened individually, which, as a Polish manufacturer, we consider key to durability. The chain is fitted with an upright SK-1 type attachment, mounted on selected outer links and protruding above the chain plate. Ozdowski hardens each chain component individually before final assembly - thanks to this, our chains are more durable and stronger, with a strength reserve reaching approx. 20% above the requirements of the standard.

Frequently asked questions
How do I select the right roller chain with attachment for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters of the chain itself: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 12B these are 19.05 mm, 11.68 mm and 12.07 mm respectively. In addition, the type and spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the SK-1 attachment and what is it used for?
The SK-1 attachment is an upright attachment with two mounting holes. It is mounted on selected links of the 12B chain to fix conveyed elements, flights, dividers or other working elements to the drive - the exact spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the difference between a bent and an upright attachment?
The bent attachment (designations without the letter S, e.g. A-1, K-1, WA-2, WK-2) has a plate bent into an L shape and fixed to the side of the chain, close to its axis. The upright attachment (with the letter S, e.g. SA-1, SK-1, WSA-2, WSK-2) has a plate mounted perpendicularly, projecting upwards from the chain. The choice depends on how the flight, divider or other element is fixed in the specific machine.
What loads can OZD roller chains withstand?
Thanks to separate hardening of the components, the chains cope well with sudden load changes - the elastic core of the plates and pins acts as a buffer, absorbing the energy of jerks without damaging the links.
Where is this product used?
The 12B chain with SK-1 attachment is used in conveyors, feeders and transport lines, where a flight, divider or other working element fixed to the attachment pushes or lifts the conveyed goods. Typical applications include packaging lines, sorting machines and conveyors in the food industry and agricultural machinery.
