Product Description
Roller chain 10B-3
Roller chain 10B-3 ensures reliable torque transmission in industrial drives - pitch 15.875 mm, triplex design. Compliance with standard DIN 8187 / ISO 606 guarantees correct interaction with sprockets from other manufacturers; as a Polish manufacturer, we also focus on separate hardening of every link component. Ozdowski hardens each chain component individually before final assembly - thanks to this, our chains are more durable and stronger, with a strength reserve reaching approx. 20% above the requirements of the standard.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 10B these are 15.875 mm, 9.65 mm and 10.16 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.
What is a triplex chain and when is it used?
A triplex chain is a design consisting of three parallel rows of links connected by common pins. It is used where the space for sprockets is limited (a wider sprocket with a larger pitch cannot be used) and the drive must transmit a higher torque than in the simplex version.
What loads can OZD roller chains withstand?
Thanks to separate hardening of the components, the chains cope well with sudden load changes - the elastic core of the plates and pins acts as a buffer, absorbing the energy of jerks without damaging the links.
Are the chain plates additionally protected against corrosion?
Depending on the selected version, the links may have blackened, phosphated, nickel-plated or galvanised plates. Even in the basic industrial version, the links are factory-lubricated, which provides additional temporary protection against corrosion.
Where is this product used?
Typical applications include drives in the food industry (packaging lines, sorting machines), the packaging and automotive industries, as well as agricultural and construction machinery, where the chain works together with sprockets of the same pitch.
