Product Description
Roller chain 10B-1 with WA2 attachment
Chain 10B-1 is an industrial-grade simplex roller chain with a pitch of 15.875 mm, designed for use in drives of machines and production equipment. Manufactured in accordance with DIN 8187 / ISO 606; as a European manufacturer, we guarantee full dimensional compatibility with sprockets made to the same standard. The chain is equipped with a bent WA-2 type attachment (flight), mounted on selected outer links and used for fixing conveyed or driving elements. Ozdowski brand chains offer strength up to 20% higher than the standard requires - each component (pin, roller, plate) is hardened individually before the chain is assembled, which translates into greater durability and resistance to elongation.

Frequently asked questions
How do I select the right roller chain with attachment for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters of the chain itself: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 10B these are 15.875 mm, 9.65 mm and 10.16 mm respectively. In addition, the type and spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the WA-2 attachment and what is it used for?
The WA-2 attachment is a widened bent attachment with one mounting hole, with a larger mounting surface than A-1. It is mounted on selected links of the 10B chain to fix conveyed elements, flights, dividers or other working elements to the drive - the exact spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the difference between a bent and an upright attachment?
The bent attachment (designations without the letter S, e.g. A-1, K-1, WA-2, WK-2) has a plate bent into an L shape and fixed to the side of the chain, close to its axis. The upright attachment (with the letter S, e.g. SA-1, SK-1, WSA-2, WSK-2) has a plate mounted perpendicularly, projecting upwards from the chain. The choice depends on how the flight, divider or other element is fixed in the specific machine.
Are the chain plates additionally protected against corrosion?
Depending on the selected version, the links may have blackened, phosphated, nickel-plated or galvanised plates. Even in the basic industrial version, the links are factory-lubricated, which provides additional temporary protection against corrosion.
Where is this product used?
The 10B chain with WA-2 attachment is used in conveyors, feeders and transport lines, where a flight, divider or other working element fixed to the attachment pushes or lifts the conveyed goods. Typical applications include packaging lines, sorting machines and conveyors in the food industry and agricultural machinery.
