Chain 10B-1 is an industrial-grade simplex roller chain with a pitch of 15.875 mm, designed for use in drives of machines and production equipment. Pins, rollers and plates are hardened separately before assembly - as a Polish manufacturer we treat this as standard, which means the chain retains its original dimensions for a long time and does not "stretch" under load. An A-1 attachment is fitted to selected outer links - an L-shaped bent plate used to mount flights, partitions or other working elements of the conveyor. The Ozdowski brand hardens pins, rollers and plates individually, before the links are assembled into a complete chain - as a result, our chains are approx. 20% stronger than the standard requires and therefore more durable and robust when working under load.

The key is to determine three parameters of the chain itself: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 10B these are 15.875 mm, 9.65 mm and 10.16 mm respectively. In addition, the type and spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.

What is an A-1 attachment and what is it used for?

The A-1 attachment is a single-sided bent attachment with one mounting hole, offset to the side of the link. It is mounted on selected links of the 10B chain to fix conveyed elements, flights, dividers or other working elements to the drive - the exact spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.

What is the difference between a bent and an upright attachment?

The bent attachment (designations without the letter S, e.g. A-1, K-1, WA-2, WK-2) has a plate bent into an L shape and fixed to the side of the chain, close to its axis. The upright attachment (with the letter S, e.g. SA-1, SK-1, WSA-2, WSK-2) has a plate mounted perpendicularly, projecting upwards from the chain. The choice depends on how the flight, divider or other element is fixed in the specific machine.

Why is it not advisable to break a chain with a hammer and punch?

Hammer blows generate uncontrolled forces that can damage the fit of the pin in the plate of the adjacent link, and a ricocheting punch can be dangerous and may damage the roller surface.

Where is this product used?
