Product Description
Roller chain 08B-1 with WA2 attachment BEA
Chain 08B-1 is an industrial-grade simplex roller chain with a pitch of 12.7 mm, designed for use in drives of machines and production equipment. As a Polish manufacturer, we ensure a precise fit of the pin in the bush, which limits the development of play and extends chain service life. The WA-2 attachment is mounted on selected outer links - an L-shaped bent plate used for fastening flights, dividers or other working elements of the conveyor. Design matching the hole spacing used by the manufacturer BEA, which makes interchangeable use with existing elements mounted on chains of this brand easier. Ozdowski chains withstand loads approx. 20% higher than the standard minimum - this is the result of individual hardening of each component (pin, roller, plate) before the chain is assembled.

Frequently asked questions
How do I select the right roller chain with attachment for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters of the chain itself: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 08B these are 12.7 mm, 7.75 mm and 8.51 mm respectively. In addition, the type and spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the WA-2 attachment and what is it used for?
The WA-2 attachment is a widened bent attachment with one mounting hole, with a larger mounting surface than A-1. It is mounted on selected links of the 08B chain to fix conveyed elements, flights, dividers or other working elements to the drive - the exact spacing of the attachments must be matched to the machine design.
What is the difference between a bent and an upright attachment?
The bent attachment (designations without the letter S, e.g. A-1, K-1, WA-2, WK-2) has a plate bent into an L shape and fixed to the side of the chain, close to its axis. The upright attachment (with the letter S, e.g. SA-1, SK-1, WSA-2, WSK-2) has a plate mounted perpendicularly, projecting upwards from the chain. The choice depends on how the flight, divider or other element is fixed in the specific machine.
How does the hardness of the pin and roller affect the chain's resistance to elongation?
The pin and roller are the components subject to the greatest friction. A precisely machined, hard pin wears more slowly, which limits the build-up of play in the links and the "stretching" of the chain over time.
Where is this product used?
The 08B chain with WA-2 attachment is used in conveyors, feeders and transport lines, where a flight, divider or other working element fixed to the attachment pushes or lifts the conveyed goods. Typical applications include packaging lines, sorting machines and conveyors in the food industry and agricultural machinery.
