Product Description
Roller chain 06B-2
Chain 06B-2 is an industrial-grade duplex roller chain with a pitch of 9.53 mm, designed for use in drives of machines and production equipment. Pins, rollers and plates are hardened separately before assembly - as a Polish manufacturer we treat this as standard, which means the chain retains its original dimensions for a long time and does not "stretch" under load. Ozdowski brand chains offer strength up to 20% higher than the standard requires - each component (pin, roller, plate) is hardened individually before the chain is assembled, which translates into greater durability and resistance to elongation.

Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right roller chain for an industrial drive?
The key is to determine three parameters: pitch, inner width and roller diameter - for 06B these are 9.53 mm, 5.72 mm and 6.35 mm respectively. In addition, operating conditions should be taken into account: load, rotational speed and environment (dust, moisture), in order to select the right version.
What is a duplex chain and when is it used?
A duplex chain is a design consisting of two parallel rows of links connected by common pins. It is used where the space for sprockets is limited (a wider sprocket with a larger pitch cannot be used) and the drive must transmit a higher torque than in the simplex version.
How can industrial chains be cleaned of dirt and mud without damaging the links?
Avoid aggressive acid cleaners and pressure washers at close range, as water can be forced under the rollers. Dedicated cleaning agents and soft brushes are a better solution.
What are the most common causes of chain breakage in machines?
In most cases it is not a material defect but operating errors: running without lubrication, worn sprockets or overloading the drive beyond the permissible chain parameters.
Where is this product used?
The chain is used in production machine drives, transport conveyors, industrial mills and mixers, sorting lines and in maintenance as a replacement part for existing chain drives.
