SPB V-belt pulleys

SPB V-belt pulleys work with SPB narrow V-belts, XPB cogged belts and SPB banded belts. The belt has a top width of 16.3 mm and a height of 13 mm. It is the basic profile in mills, crushers, pumps, compressors and agricultural machinery - wherever the drive must transmit considerable power and work reliably for many seasons.

SPB V-belt pulleys - more power from one belt, a narrower drive

One SPB belt transmits considerably more than an SPA belt, so the drive can have fewer grooves and be narrower. When even more power is needed, you choose a multi-groove pulley instead of moving to a larger profile. This is our largest group of V-belt pulleys, so you can easily find a replacement for the machine you are repairing, and standard-compliant grooves accept belts from any manufacturer.

SPB V-belt pulleys: pilot bore, Taper-Lock and BK-RZ

Single and multi-groove SPB pulleys in three subgroups: pilot bore, for Taper-Lock bush and for BK-RZ keyless locking bush. Pulleys with the largest number of grooves and the largest diameters can be found among the Taper-Lock pulleys. SPB and XPB belts are in the V-belts category.

Questions and answers: SPB V-belt pulleys

Does an SPB banded belt run on a standard SPB pulley?

Yes. A banded belt is several SPB belts joined by a common back band - it is fitted on an SPB pulley with the corresponding number of grooves. This reduces vibration and prevents individual belts from jumping.

How many grooves should the pulley have?

As many as there are belts in the drive. When replacing, always fit a complete set of new belts so that all are equally tensioned and evenly loaded.
