AT5 timing pulleys

AT5 timing pulleys work with AT5 belts with a 5 mm pitch and a reinforced trapezoidal tooth. The AT5 belt carries higher loads than T5 at the same pitch and ensures accurate positioning. AT5 pulleys are used in automation, CNC machines, 3D printing and precision devices.

The reinforced tooth copes better with jerks during start-up and braking, and the belt stretches less - the axis keeps its accuracy for longer. We make all AT5 pulleys from 6082 T6 aluminium with hard anodising: they are light, have low inertia and wear-resistant teeth. The pulleys comply with the AT standard, so they fit AT5 belts from various manufacturers.

When should I choose AT5 instead of T5?

When a T5 drive runs at the limit of its load capacity. Remember that both the belt and the pulleys need to be replaced.

Does an AT5 pulley fit an HTD 5M belt?

No. The pitch is the same, but the 5M belt has a rounded tooth, while AT5 has a trapezoidal one.
